Georgian Ambassador visits the State of Colima

On 18-22 August, Ambassador Malkhaz Mikeladze paid a working visit to the State of Colima, namely to the capital city of Colima and the Port of Manzanillo. The visit was organized by the initiative and active engagement of the Federal Deputy from the State Colima, Mrs. Martha Leticia Sosa Govea, who presides the interparliamentary friendship group with Georgia at the Mexican Congress. The Secretary of the Embassy, Mrs. Olivia Escamilla Marquez participated in the activities of the visit. During the visit, the meetings were held with the officials of the State of Colima, academic circles and diverse representatives of the society of Colima. A wide array of the bilateral cooperation issues were discussed with the State officials in the fields of trade, economy, culture and education. Ambassador was a guest of the live programme at TV Channel - Canal Once, while visit enjoyed a good exposure in the local and regional newspapers.
