On October 1st, 2012 the Georgian Government was elected with a clear mission to create a justice system that the Georgian people deserve, a system that is fair and strong. Thus, we were equipped with a mandate that obliges us to thoroughly perform this task.
Georgian Ambassador to the Republic of Panama (with residence in Mexico City) Malkhaz Mikeladze paid a working visit to Panama from 30th of June to the 2nd of July. In the frames of the visit, Ambassador participated in the inauguration ceremony of the President Elect Juan Carlos Varela and had a number of bilateral meetings with the representatives of the executive branch.
From May 19th to May 21st the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the United Mexican States, Mr. Malkhaz Mikeladze, on the sidelines of his working visit to Santo Domingo (the Dominican Republic), presented the copies of the credentials to the Dominican Deputy Foreign Minister, Mr Jose Manuel Trullols.
On March 24, the Georgian Ambassador to the United Mexican States, Malkhaz Mikeladze who is concurrently accredited to the Republic of Panama took part in the official visit of the President of the Republic of Panama, H.E. Mr. Ricardo Martinelli to Mexico.
On the 27th of January 2014, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the United Mexican States, H.E. Malkhaz Mikeladze who also serves as Georgia's non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Honduras represented Georgia at the inauguration ceremony of the president-elect of Honduras, H.E. Mr. Juan Orlando Hernandez.
On 18-22 August, Ambassador Malkhaz Mikeladze paid a working visit to the State of Colima, namely to the capital city of Colima and the Port of Manzanillo.
On the 31st of July, Georgian Embassy hosted a press-conference for the representatives of the diverse media and experts working on the Caucasus region.
From May 25 to June 9 Georgian Embassy took part in the annual festival of the Mexico City (Feria de las Culturas Amigas) – the World in your Town. For the second year in a row, Georgian Embassy formed part of the festival which has become a tradition of the Mexico City.
On April 12, Ambassador Malkhaz Mikeladze took part in the second annual book festival organized by the Matías Romero Institute. On the opening day, Georgian Ambassador participated in the panel of the magazine Foreign Affairs Latinoamérica together with the Director of Foreign Affairs Latinoamérica Mr. Jordi Bacaria and the Deputy Director, Mr. Genaro Lozano.
On the 26th of February, Ambassador of Georgia Malkhaz Mikeladze attended a cocktail reception in the Legislative Palace of San Lazaro. The event was hosted by the President of the executive board of the Chamber of Deputies of Mexican Congress, Mr. Francisco Arroyo in honor of the diplomatic corps accredited in Mexico D.F.
On the 22nd of February, in the premises of the Embassy, Georgian Ambassador Malkhaz Mikeladze held a meeting with the deputy Francisco Coronato, member of the Mexican Congress from the citizenship movement (movimiento ciudadano) party.
