Georgian Embassy hosted a press-conference

On the 31st of July, Georgian Embassy hosted a press-conference for the representatives of the diverse media and experts working on the Caucasus region. Ambassador Malkhaz Mikeladze made a lengthy presentation on the current developments in the country, highlighted the importance of the parliamentary elections of October 2012 as well as the irreversibility of the democratic processes taking place in Georgia. A part of Ambassador’s speech was devoted to the recent past and the modern history of Georgia, foreign policy priorities, relations with Russia and new vector of Georgia’s Foreign Policy – rapprochement with the Latin American region. Ambassador answered numerous questions on the Foreign Policy priorities of Georgia and Georgian-Mexican bilateral relations.
